Description:

1 - 1 1/2 ft upright to somewhat sprawling annual or perennial. Stems one to several and forming a bushy clump. Part shade, full sun. Leaves are narrow. Flowers are soft, 4 petaled cups that open in the evening, are moth pollinated. They stay open all the next day, closing in late afternoon shortly before the fresh ones open. Old flowers turn orange or pink.

Habitat:

Various soils, in sun or part shade. Drought tolerant.
