Crab spider

Description:

Green spider with short, broad body, holding moth it had caught on guajillo bush.

Habitat:

The area has a wide variety of plant cover. The ground is covered in a thick layer of river rock.

Notes:

Crab spiders do not spin web snares, but rather wander over the ground, climbing flowers and plants in search of prey.
