Bronze jumper (male) & unidentified larva

Eris militaris

Description:

4 mm long jumping spider with its prey.

Habitat:

Meadow.

Notes:

This little guy was the perfect model - he was more intent on making sure I didn't seal his lunch than he was about running away so I managed to get a couple of dozen photos of him protecting (& eating) his prey!

Liam, I bought it on recommendation from Albert Tamayo - he uses it for some of his amazing videos. It took me a while to get used to the very critical focus distance but I'm really enjoying "playing" with it now!

I've wanted the DCR-250, but just haven't gotten around to buying it.

Thanks Liam!
I have a Lumix FZ40 & a Raynox 250 macro converter. I found the macro took a bit of getting used to but I'm beginning to get the hang of it now!
