An acacia leaf beetle with rich teal panels on elytra, a deep tan surrounding and head and pronotum with a dark patch at the centre. About 12mm long.


On Acacia mearnsii in an outer urban nature reserve.


The pronotum is a key to this species. At least two others have the same teal gloss on the elytra but have either no pronotal dark spot or have a green pronotum. See C parilis here and C bartoni here
