Carpet Moth

Xanthorhoe sp

Notes:

Known as "Carpet" moths for the patterns on their wings. it is tempting to add this under V. brujata as in the previous example. They were found close together on the same night and this may be a female or a sub-species. It can be Xanthorhoe sp. as it seems more likely. The strong changes in temperature and storms seem to taking a toll on the species present at night
