Description:

Adults are nocturnal and are attracted to light. The Armyworm larvae are voracious, generalist feeders. They will feed on many species including alfalfa, corn, grains, grasses, vegetables, weeds, fruit & ornamental tree leaves.

Habitat:

Occurs Worldwide. Flight: March - November. Fields, gardens, meadows.

Notes:

Observed at night nectaring on American Holly.
