Description:

Highly variable. Female yellow form with black outer margins uneven with enclosed yellow spots on upperside, and some orange. Underside hindwing with silver cell spot, forewing some small, dark submarginal spots.

Habitat:

This sulphur was spotted in a yard near Lake Belton, feeding on verbena. There were a variety of other flowers nearby, and woods nearby.
