Nacophorine Moth

Description:

A little tired, this moth would have had a wing span of about 40 mm. Fore wings had thin black transverse lines and shades of brown and grey. The underside showed dark sooty patches in the submarginal areas with black spots on each wing just above them.

Habitat:

Attracted to night lights in a suburban garden.
