Olesterus is too broad and too short. I am quite confident with the genus Scrobiger, but colors of legs and antennae are indeed confusing. Might be a variation or rather a different species/subspecies.

This one has the leg and antennae colour but not the pattern http://www.cleridae.info/olesterus-tuber...

PS must be close though.

Thanks bayucca but I read about that one and I think there are too many differences. Most doco talks about the distinctive yellow antennae which mine doesn't have. Also the shapes around the thorax and head seem different and the legs are a very different colour. I'll let you know what the ant man says on BB.

Definitely a Cleridae. Might be Scrobiger albocinctus?? Not that sure, just a try... Please, verify!

I will put it to BB later. Pity I didn't get a good shot of it's rear end. It has a separation and tuck in the ends of the elytra that looked quite peculiar but definitely added to it's antiness.

A great find.
It appears to not have an exact match in the ALA gallery

I suggest you put it on BB and I reckon that Ken will ID it for you.
