Spectacled Bulbul

Description:

What struck me first were the "wrinkles"under the eyes. Otherwise the bird is pretty nondescript. Quite quarrelsome and aggressive.

Habitat:

Tree on a pavement just opposite the Grand Place in Bangkok. There is a Tuktuk stand under the tree (heavy traffic). I heard a ferocious squabbling going on and left lunch to investigate. This tree was at the same level as the first-floor dining area. I opened the window to get an unobstructed view of this massive avian fight going on..got some clean shots when the two were not at each others throats or flying sorties into each other's territories. .
