Did someone say drop bear? I've had a bit of a dig around re: protection status of this species in NT and WA, but seem to have drawn a blank. Plenty of info regarding conservation status, but actual protection status in unknown. However, it appears that it is illegal to remove this species from crown land or without permission from traditional landowners.
Thank you, Neil Ross, I like your drop koala pic :). This plant is protected in NSW and SA, do you know if it's the same in NT and WA? Couldn't find info. Thanks for the mission suggestion, you are so very helpful...
Fantastic spotting, Chicquita, and such a beautiful photo This is definitely on my list of "must see" Australian flora. Speaking of missions, here's a local one that this would be perfect for.... https://www.projectnoah.org/missions/240...

Mark Ridgway! Glad to see you again. I was so careful taking this pic, locals told me that the rule of 'just look and don't touch' applies :)
Isn't it wonderful to see these in the wild. Beautiful pic.
(drop bear btw lol)

Hi MichaelS, thank you ... it's good to be back :) I'm overwhelmed with the number of missions, used to be only 20
Hi Chicquita, welcome back to Project Noah!
