I wish that bird would live...I buried him near where I buried my pet cat in the backyard.

I put him in a bowl with a warm towel as a liner. Fed him wet cat food through a syringe. He took it well and then slept through the night and morning. Though when I came home he passed away. It was sad but we really tried to take care of him but he just didn't survive.

Yes, I found a nest fragment nearby him/her. I think she fell off her nest way up above in a live oak tree in my backyard. The bird sustained a broken a left wing as a result of a fall.
