Description:

I think this is the normal shelf fungus that grows all over here but coated in a white slime mold. The harder mushroom under the slime was more brownish than the orangey shelf fungus though.

Yea I'd love to know what kind of slime mold the white stuff is I've never seen it before

The white coating would be most likely another fungi - maybe a Hypomyces species. Slime molds are in an entirely different kingdom of life.
