Luna Moth

Actias luna

Nice large Luna Moth found sleeping on the window sill of the main restroom for the main campground, Lake Kegonsa State Park. the width of the wings was about 4 inches. The tips of the wing tails curled around. In looking at the site, I see some of these have blue edging! I am very blessed by this spotting, and thank God for the rare privelege of seeing one.

Lots of white birch trees around, which I guess are good feeding for the catepillars.
