Chinese Mantis

Tenodera sinensis

Description:

Non-native mantis. Common in our area, larger than our Carolina mantises. She had taken over the grill and I did not wish to fight her for it.

Habitat:

Garden with mixed woods.

Notes:

We also have Carolina mantises. I don't know how happily they co-exist, but they definitely do co-exist.
