Hi Emma,
I saw these bullfrogs in the middle of the day. They are pretty common in south dakota. There were several in this pond alone. Bullfrogs do blend in pretty well, and they are quite skiddish. If you hear some little peeps and a splash as you approach the edge of a pond it is probably them. You can try to wait a few minutes, and they will often come back toward the shore.

Are these easy to spot? What time of the day did yo see them?
We are told that there are 4 types of Bull frog species on Mt Diablo. i have'nt seen one yet!
