This moth is about 1.5" round. I spotted it at night under a street lamp.
Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica 9 weeks into the rainy season.
I am constantly amazed at how the flash always brings out the irridescent colors on the moths...colors you never see. I am sure they use them to identify each other. Thanks Maria
