Columbian Ground Squirrel

Habitat:

Digs burrows in grassy areas in Canada and US. These ones are in the Cascade Mtn range in BC

Notes:

These ground squirrels are constantly begging from the tourists in the lodge area and are encouraged in this by people disobeying the signs and feeding them anyway. Cute but not very wild anymore unfortunately!
