A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Commelina diffusa
Plant growing low to the ground, bright blue small three-petal flower growing from long stems (almost vine-like to some extent) with flat and tapered dark green leaves. Sometimes confused with the environmental Wandering Jew (Tradescantia albiflora) weed which has rounder leaves and small white flowers.
Grows in many regions throughout Australia but prefers and does best in moist areas and areas where soils are not so poor.
