Description:

Neurothemis terminata (Ris, 1911), the Straight-edged Red Parasol (Libellulidae) is a widespread and often common dragonfly which can occur in man-made habitats. When teneral, the wing of the male is chocolate in color with yellow pterostigma. These wings matured into dark red with red pterostigma.

Habitat:

Backyard.
