Arctiid Moth

Creatonotos gangis

Description:

This is an Arctiid moth that i found on the wall of my house. It is one of the most common moth found in South East Asia. It have white hind-wings, brown fore-wings (each with a dark streak), and red abdomen. The length of this moth is about 20 mm, and the wingspan is about 40 mm.

Habitat:

- Around the house and garden.

Notes:

- This is a type of moth from family Arctiidae (Arctiid Moth). It is attracted to the light (possibly a nocturnal insect).
