White-Gray Tussock Moth

Calliteara grotei

This is a Tussock Moth that i found on the wall of my house. It is white-gray in color, and its body was covered with white furs. Its body length is about 25 mm.

- Around the house and garden.

- This is a moths in the family Lymantriidae. This moth is attracted to the light (possibly a nocturnal insect). It is considered as a pest, because the larvae feed on a wide range of plants.
