Laughing gull (nonbreeding adult)

Leucophaeus atricilla

Description:

A flock of gulls at the marina. Their bills and tails are tipped black.

Habitat:

Seen at the Atlantic coastline in Everglades National Park.

Notes:

The area hosts crocodiles under the right conditions, so the gulls were smart to stay on the boardwalk!
