Breath of Heaven or Confetti Bush

Coleonema pulchellum (formally known as Coleonema pulchrum)

Description:

The genus name Coleonema is taken from a Greek term describing the base of the petals. The species name pulchellum means beautiful and small. It is native to the Cape Province of South Africa. The leaves are needle-like. It bears masses of pink flowers during autumn and spring and releases an aromatic fragrance when leaves are crushed. The fruit consists of a 5-chambered capsule.
