Xerotricha conspurcata
Shell brownish with irregular light spots, forming patterns on the upper whorls, densely striated and covered with 0.2-0.3 mm long hairs, which are often rare or absent in adults, 4-5 convex whorls, first whorls slightly keeled, aperture simple without lip, margin only slightly reflected near umbilicus, umbilicus 1/7-1/6 of shell diameter. Shell shape not very variable. Its dirty brown general aspect combined with its short hairs allows to recognize this species easily. Animal small, body light reddish with more or less blackish brown dorsum and head, tentacles not very long, two retractor muscles visible as dark lines.
