Thorax brown with yellow striping. Abdomen blue, with black tip.
Pond in school, native plant garden.
Blue Dasher dragonflies have a tiger-striped thorax; Eastern Pondhawks do not. Also, Blue Dashers have a white face; Eastern Pondhawk faces are green.
