This nine-banded armadillo has a flexible leather hide. It mostly gray-like in color
Observed along side the exit road in a County nature Preserve. It was basically oblivious to the car stopping on the road along side of it. The surrounding area was open pine flatwoods w/ a great amount of Saw palmetto. Though not a native to FL, they are seen very often.
