Description:

Portrayed here probably immature, with that whitish-greyish belly and lower throat. That day, we counted 13 of these birds on these waters.

Habitat:

Observed in marshes of Etournel; where a series of ponds forms on banks of river Rhône as it flew out of Geneva lake. Protected area.
