Broad-headed Bug

Alydus sp.

Description:

Dark true bug, long and slender with long antennae. Usually 10-18mm in length.

Habitat:

Often found on vegetation in disturbed areas such as long road. Also on vegetation in wooded areas. I found this one at the edge of a jack pine forest on sandy soils. It is on a round-headed bush clover.
