Northern Cardinal (Female)

Cardinalis cardinalis

Description:

These birds can be found all over the city of Toronto, and are often seen in breeding pairs.

Habitat:

She was spotted hanging around some trees that obscure a drainage ditch. The Don Valley is only one block to the West.

Notes:

This is an old photograph that I took two months after getting my first dslr. Long before I understood RAW or the power of Adobe.
