BugEric-Thank you (again)! I've seen many of these caterpillars singly as well as two or three together on one plant or leaf but had never found or seen them gathered together in these numbers before and never so small in size with this coloring. :-)

These are very young caterpillars. Eventually, they will forage singly, or nearly so.
