Large butterfly with a pattern of black dots on white cells forming a broad border of the hind wings. It is on an Ixora plant.
Chilapata Forest is near Jaldapara National Park in Dooars, Alipurduar district, West Bengal, India. I spotted this butterfly in the gardens of Chilapata Jungle Camp a tourist resort of sorts located right where the Chilapata forest ends. Unfortunately it did not sit still even for a moment.
