Sephisa chandra
Orange and black with touches of white.
Suntaley Khola is a remote hilly and forested area by the River Murty. This butterfly was spotted in the garden of the resort we stayed in. It was quite fearless and often settled on the verandah floor or the wall of the porch.
Help with ID please.
I was close to Dr Sherpa's hunting grounds so to say....got LOTS of moths and one snake! Few birds. Thanks Daniele for all the help and good to know this butterfly is not very common on PN :) I saw some this time which I had only admired on PN earlier...it was such a rush to see them alive.
You're welcome Sukanya. Second time only for this species on Project Noah. The other one of course from Dr. Sherpa :-)
