Eastern Yellow-bellied Racer

Coluber constrictor flaviventris

Description:

A pale olive green snake with a bright yellow belly--this one was about 3 feet long.

Habitat:

Old field adjacent to produce farm and the South Platte River.

Notes:

Snake was found underneath a large piece of plywood.
