Amanita muscaria, commonly known as the fly agaric, is a basidiomycete of the genus Amanita. It associates with various deciduous and coniferous trees, and the pictured mushrooms were spotted growing in beech and sweet chestnut forest floor, in Pelion mountain, Greece.
