Description:

Red ti plant. Can grow as low bushes or get to be 10 feet tall.

Habitat:

Our yard in Maui, 2200 foot elevation, dry sunny climate.

Notes:

Sacred to the Hawaiians. They brought it here about 1700 years ago.

Thank you nakakuraj. GrahamDeVey, this is a hybrid Ti plant which is introduced to Hawaii (NOT indigenous or Endemic). This Mission is for Hawaiian indigenous/endemic plants. Mahalo.

What a beautiful plant! However, it's not a true native Hawaiian plant. This may have to go under another category.
