Leopard Slug

Limax maximus

Description:

This Leopard Slug was found in the stump of a tree. It wasn't moving at all when we found it, but then it started moving when the flash went off. That's also why the picture looks a little weird. This area was damp, littered with sticks. It was the same habitat that this artist's fungus (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/144...) was taken.

Habitat:

This picture was taken on the school grounds of the ICS at Islesboro, ME

Notes:

Please feel free to comment on this spotting and tell me if anything is wrong.
