Thalamita crenata
Brownish carapace and blue claws with red tips.
Common in muddy bays and harbors. Picture taken at Ala Wai Canal near McCully bridge. Noticed a large amount of these crabs appeared that I had not seen here before.
I'm guessing at the exact species, and guessing the more brownish carapace is die to algae and pollution that is rampant in the canal. So if someone knows that I have misidentified please let me know.
