Description:

"Opie" A male North American opossum that lived in my garage for a few years. He was very friendly, and would often join us on the patio table for cocktails and kibble.

Habitat:

Woodlands of Eastern North America and Central America.

Notes:

The Virginia opossum is North America's only native marsupial.

Welcome to Project Noah, BCHowe. This is a sweet story. I also really like the second picture here because it shows the weird-but-true fact that possums don't have claws, they have fingernails.
