Cortinarius Mushroom

Cortinarius cf. brunneoalbus

Description:

The caps were viscid and tan. Tan gills, with what appears to be brownish spores trapped in the slime in the second photo. White, brittle stipe.

Habitat:

Mossy Sitka spruce forest after lots of rain.

Now I definitely didn't do a taste and spit test on this one! I agree.. too slimy
