Black with yellow design and stripes, pink/red legs. .75 - 1.00 inches. 20 - 25 mm long (not including antennae) Adult food: pollen/goldenrod.

Habitat:

Meadow with abundant flowers and weeds (goldenrod) Range is a very small portion of mostly PA, WV, KY and TN.

Notes:

Mimic bee or wasp - A serious pest.
