Crevice Weaver Spider Web

Filistatidae

Description:

I think this is a Crevice Weaver Spider web because the hole is offset with the bulk of the web leading up to the hole. Where as with a Funnel Weaver Spider web the hole would be in the centre with a blanket of web surrounding it. I have seen several of these webs in crevices of wood and stone here in Turkey, this one was in our garden.

I hope you will get to photograph the spider itself one day. There are very few spottings of this spider here.
