They are generally a dark reddish color, with warts darker than their skin color. They only reach up to 6 cm.
They are found in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, and Indiana. They are usually found in or near forests.
