Habitat:

Their main habitats are forests and fields, especially crop fields of Panicum maximum. This was found in a weedy place in a rural town.

Seus principais habitats são florestas e campos, especialmente colheitas de Panicum maximum. Este foi achado em uma área de mata em uma cidade rural.

Abracris flavolineata é um gafanhoto da ordem Orthoptera, subordem Caelifera, superfamília Acridoidea, família Acrididae, subfamília Ommatolampidinae e tribo Abracrini.

Alimentam-se de uma grande variedade de plantas, vivendo em plantas lenhosas e herbáceas de pequeno porte. Também se alimentam de pastagens, especialmente as de Panicum maximum. Quando querem acasalar, produzem sons específicos para atrair a fêmea, juntamente com movimentos nas antenas. Abracris flavolineata is a grasshopper in the order Orthoptera, suborder Caelifera, superfamily Acridoidea, family Acrididae, subfamily Ommatolampidinae and tribe Abracrini.

They feed on a wide variety of low-size woody and herbaceous plants. They also feed on pastures, especially those of Panicum maximum . When mating needs arise, they produce specific mating calls along with antenna movements to attract their mate. They also produce specific songs, such as for territorialism and danger alert. They fixed themselves under an important step in the food chain, serving as food for birds. The subject portrayed is a male.
