Height 100ft., medium to large tree. Evergreen needles. Straight trunk. Crown horizontal branches.

Habitat:

Well drained sandy soils. Sometimes in pure sands.

Notes:

The largest conifer and formally the most valuable tree in the northwest. White pine is used for construction, millwork, trim, and pulpwood.
