An orange and black dragonfly with a white face; I think these are the same dragonfly species but one's tail appears shinier than the other so perhaps they're different.
On plants growing alongside a mowed (grassy) trail, within 1/2 a city block of a freshwater lake (Lake Emma), marsh and woods
If these are different species, let me know and I'll delete one of them to match your identification. Just let me know which one I'm deleting, okay?
