Yellowish Leafhopper

Membracoidea

Description:

very large dark 'eyes' with ocelli. Yellow-green cylindrical hopper with "frog" face. Very prominent, short, forward pointing 'Fu-Manchu' antenna on the forward edge of the nose. Bug is 2mm approx.

Notes:

# bic leafhopper. Two things that made these images so bad. The camera would never shoot a 2mm bug in that light anyway and the camera has worn out so sometimes it will not focus at all. I do not want to lose the spottings so there will be a few badly shot spottings until I can replicate the species on another camera...one day. Still not researched
