Thanks J...I was pleased to find it on my first night back at the cabin. I don't get these cool moths on Siesta Key in Florida.
Amazing shots! The blackish mark down the "backside" of the moth is actually a series of reflective scales. When I first saw it, I thought it was a wound! I spotted a similar species in Maine: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/130...
