approx 13-14cm wingspan. black metallic body with yellow flashings. sounds like a wind up clacky toy when flying. Was spotted chasing red admiral butterflys in the garden.

ive had a couple of these visitors to my garden since a greater number of small flying insects and butterflies have beeb about after increasing flowers in the garden
