Description:

Red and black beetle, about 5-6mm in body length. Found on camote tops (sweet potato plant). The red color is more brilliant in real life than what I've captured in the pictures. Chrysomelid Beetle - Beetles in the family Chrysomelidae are commonly known as leaf beetles. This is a family of over 35,000 species in more than 2,500 genera, one of the largest and most commonly encountered of all beetle families. Source: Wikipedia.

Yeah..i just not observed through...at once it looks like a stag beetle...

@Adarsha, I saw images of stag beetles with similar body, but my spotting's long antennae do not fit in :(
